According to Bain & Company's latest global luxury market research report shows that
the global luxury goods sales in 2011 will grow 10 percent to 191 billion euros.
Consumers continued to increase in the luxury apparel, bags, perfume, shoes,
accessories, jewelry, watches, cosmetics, consumer, and the luxury brand's
distribution channels also the beginning of some changes, including direct sales
stores sales increased by 14% , far exceeding the sales of the wholesale and
shopping malls.
According to Bain's report is expected to become more prominent in developing
countries, with China grew by 35%, 20% in Brazil, the Middle East 12%, while Chinese
consumers of luxury goods consumption has accounted for 20% of the global total.
European market in 2011 sales growth of 10%, the U.S. market increased by 12%,
contrary to all expectations in Japan, still the world's second-largest luxury goods
market.
From the total class point of view, the growth of jewelry and watches 18%, 13%
accessories, clothing 2011, the growth rate of 8%, perfume and cosmetics growth rate
of 3%.
